{Many Babies Can Be Taught How To "Talk" At Ten Months of Age or Sooner}

{

Has it ever crossed your mind to begin teaching your baby in the use of Sign Language?  It really is a marvelous concept.  Not only can it speed bonding you and your baby, but a baby can learn to use Sign Language much sooner than he or she can speak words – oftentimes by several months!  Wouldn’t it be great to cut back on your baby’s frustration and tantrums at home?  You can make it happen if you will teach your baby to “speak” to you in Sign.

As an example, imagine that your ten-month-old is thirsty and wants milk, not juice and certainly not water.  The baby begins to fuss.  You begin the ritual of checking the condition of the diaper; checking to see whether child has a fever; emptying the baby bag item by item, repeating in increasing frustration ”This one?”  You even offer the baby a bottle of fruit juice – but the little one wails in disappointment and frustration when he or she realizes the bottle contains something that he or she does NOT want.  Now both you and the child, and everyone else close enough to hear, are totally frazzled; the baby is drenched in tears, and youare close to tears too.

All of this heartache can be avoided, even if the child is pre-verbal.  All the baby would have to learn, and have to do, is to give a Sign to you which you both know, and the result would be instant communicationbetween yourself and the baby.  You could go the refrigerator and get milk for the baby, and peace would reign once again.  Doesn’t that sound heavenly?

Well, It truly is possible!
